The Solar / Picnic Area

We are mounting our solar panels off the ground but not on the roof of our house. The house roof is far too high for us to maintain the panels safely. Instead, we have had a solar/ picnic area created. To make room, we had to take down two decent size trees. Sad but it was required.
We went with a white roof to reduce the heat. We could have gone with no roof but then it would be harder for us to use the space for our own recreation.
Now we have a place to put the panels and we can use the area under them to get some shade during the day or hide out if it is raining. We get beautiful view of the water if we look through the trees to the area down by our dock. We already tried out putting up our hammocks and chilling for a while. It was amazing!
