Yeah! We have rain!
YEAH RAIN!
I know, that sounds weird. We have 4 water tanks that are 660 gallon each, so why should we be excited about rain?
A couple weeks ago we performed some maintenance and opened the bypass so dirt and debris wouldn't go into the tanks, but would instead pass straight through the overflow.
Sadly, we forgot to close it after and didn't notice for over a week. OOPS!
So even though there was plenty of rain during that time, we were not catching any of it.
We spotted the error before losing all of our water, but for the past week it has rained very little and we have been in conservation mode.
As of 4:18am this morning, our tanks are completely full again.
This is a mistake we will not make again.
