A few days ago, we went to town to help cleanup the mangroves. On the way to the cleanup, one of the main boats stalled out. We were the closest large boat, so they asked us to tow them while they worked on their motor. This was the first time we ever pulled another boat. It was quite interesting as to how it made our boat act. Tina watched the boat we were towing to make sure everything was going well.
A few days later, we decided to tow our worker's cayuco home because the weather turned bad and having him paddle home seemed ridiculous. Strangely, towing the cayuco was actually harder because it is so small compared to ours that it wanted to wave back and forth and the waves of the sea could swamp it.
Both situations were new to us and we are glad we got to try them. We get more comfortable with the boat every day.
