We built stools

We came to Bocas with only a few basic woodworking skills, so we decided to have someone build our large kitchen table and the doors for our house. The process of having things built while living on an outer island takes more time and money with transporting people and materials and waiting for good weather.

After doing the deck railing and some temporary tables we felt confident to create real furniture. We have now created our stools for our kitchen counter and the porch counter. This way we can sit at the two counters for snacking, lunch or just relax. All that is left is to paint. (coming soon).

It's very rewarding to do this ourselves!
