Our beach makes us happy
It may not be a postcard white sandy beach, but it is ours and it makes us very happy.
Every few days we need to rake up the debris that washes up near the dock. It's a natural landing place being that we are at the mouth of the cut that leads out into the open ocean. Some days we get more debris than others. It doesn't take very long to rake it up and make the beach beautiful again. Due to sea grass near the dock, we don't normally swim in that area, but over on the open ocean side of the property we have this little sandy beach that we do like to swim from. And the neighbor has about 200 yards of sandy beach. Good thing all the beaches in Panama are public use. We like to walk on the neighbor's beach from time to time.
It is funny how happy a little bit of sand can make us. We are so grateful that we found this place.
